AI coding assistants for React
Install the CookieYes skills so Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot and other AI coding assistants set up consent with the current API.
An AI coding assistant that writes consent code from memory can invent options or use ones that were removed. The CookieYes skills are short guides your assistant reads before it writes code: how to install the banner, gate third-party tools and test the result, written against the current packages.
Install the skills
Run this in your project:
npx skills add cookieyes/cookieyesThe command asks which skills to install and for which assistants. To install one skill only, name it:
npx skills add cookieyes/cookieyes --skill install-consent-bannerThen ask your assistant in plain words, for example "add a cookie consent banner". It picks the matching skill from its description.
The skills
| Skill | Use it to |
|---|---|
install-consent-banner | Add the banner to a Next.js, React or plain JavaScript site |
gate-third-party-scripts | Load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, Segment or any script only after consent, or write your own integration |
test-consent | Unit-test code that depends on consent with @cookieyes/test |
Without installing anything
- Every docs page is also available as Markdown: use Copy as Markdown at the top of a page, or send
Accept: text/markdownto the page URL. - llms.txt lists every page with a one-line description.
- Assistants that support skill discovery find the same skills at /.well-known/agent-skills/index.json.
Good to know
- The skills are Markdown instructions only. Nothing in them runs on its own.
- They are updated with each release of the packages. Install them again after you upgrade.
